Shark Diving, Guadalupe Island
If you planning to try Great White Shark diving, Guadalupe could be the destination.
You can go from Mexico – or you can do a multi-day live-aboard tour from
San Diego in USA.
The Guadalupe Island (also called Isla Guadalupe in Spanish) is located 241 kilometers
(150 miles) off the west coast of Mexico's Baja California peninsula.
The island is considered one of the best spots in the world for scuba diving with
the Great White Shark – probably because of a large population of pinnipeds.
The season for Guadalupe shark diving is generally the summer and fall months, where
the largest population of Great White Sharks is seen.

Great White Shark Cage Diving, Guadalupe Island
Normally you will be scuba diving (or swimming) in a cage. Often it will be a surface
cage, so you do not have to be a certified scuba diver. No matter if it is a surface cage
or a normal diving cage, the Great White Sharks will be extremely close. So be ready
for a heart pumping thrill.
A Guadalupe shark dive can be more than the Great White Shark. Tiger Sharks, Hammerhead
Sharks, Bull Sharks, Galapagos Sharks, Caribbean Reef Sharks, Nurse Sharks and even
Whale Sharks can also be seen on a shark dive.
